When it came time to replace the retiring Vice President of our People Department, it was critical for us to make sure that we would identify and attract the best possible candidates.
We selected Carl Taylor to assist us with the search for this important Vice President role. Carl demonstrated a very genuine interest in working with our company before the search was initiated even though we are not a large company by today's standards. He invested a significant amount of time at the first of the search to ensure his understanding of our people and our culture. He presented a number of qualified candidates who were capable of handling the requirements of this position, and we chose an outstanding individual who has been very successful in the role.
During the search assignment, Carl honored all of our position requirements, and he provided a thorough, objective search of the marketplace. He did not have any conflicts which limited his search efforts. Several candidates told us he served as an outstanding representative of the company.
Carl's wide range of experience and his high level of professionalism enable him to be successful with the most critical and challenging search assignments. We considered it an advantage to us that he was not a specific industry or functional expert as so many recruiters are.
